Cong was a brilliant host. The bánh đa cá stop felt very local, not staged, and the egg coffee at the end was lush. Proper good way to understand Hanoi through food.

Loved that this was not just eating random dishes. We got stories behind every stop, met small vendors, and left genuinely full. The kem xôi was a cracking finish.

Quang kept the walk relaxed and easy to follow. Great mix of savoury, sweet, and coffee. I would only suggest adding a bit more time between stops because there is a lot of food.

Huyen made the tour feel personal. She explained family food traditions without making it feel like a lecture. The hidden eateries were the kind of places I would never find alone.

We came hungry and still underestimated it. Bánh rán, miến trộn, fish noodles, egg coffee, dessert, all bang on. Good banter too, very easy evening.

Kuang was friendly and clearly cared about the vendors. The food choices were excellent, especially the mixed glass noodles. Not suitable if you want a fancy restaurant tour, but perfect for real street food.

Huen gave us extra tips for the rest of our Hanoi trip, which was honestly as useful as the food tour itself. Egg coffee was a highlight, and the walking pace was comfortable.
